About Me

Hi, I'm Jane! I'm a student majoring in Digital Arts and Sciences with a focus in the game design pipeline, while minoring in Computer Science at the University of Florida. I want to inspire and share entertainment with others through games, and I'm eager to do this in the industry.
My education has actively nurtured my skills and I've had the privilege of:
-
Working under Professor Heitzman as his course assistant to debug various student games, in addition to expanding his existing codebase and asset packages.
-
Expanding my rapid prototyping in Gamejams that varied between 32 to 48 hours.
-
Managing team sizes varying between 4 to 23 members.
-
Collaborating on both in-person and remote teams.
-
Cross-cultural designing in Japan with graduate students who don't speak English as their native language.
I have experience as a project manager, systems designer and programmer, co-level designer, and lead game artist on various projects. I have exemplary collaborative skills, passion for design and programming, self-driven time-management skills, and I am able to implement them in both individual and team settings in order to achieve the overall goals of a project. I love to network, form bonds with my peers, expand my technical skills, and adapt by learning things new to me. Feel free to reach out and connect with me!
